  1. What should I do if I smell Propane?

    ?

    1.Evacuate everyone from the house. 2.Call your local propane provider and the fire department from a neighbor's telephone. 3.Turn off the supply at the tank.
  2. What does Propane smell like?

    ?

    In its natural state propane is an odorless, colorless gas, but ethyl mercapatin is added in order make propane leaks easier to detect. To find out what propane gas smells like, contact your local propane office to have a “Propane Users Safety Guide” mailed to you.
  3. What is my account number?

    ?

    Your Edison Propane account number will be your Last Name, First Name. Please feel free to call our office to confirm what name your account is under 719-478-5000.
  4. When should I call for more propane?

    ?

    Letting your tank run completely out is not only unsafe, but you will be charged for an out-of-gas-call. If you are a Will-Call customer, call before your tank gets below 25%.
  5. What payment options are available?

    ?

    We accept cash, checks, money orders and all major credit cards. Budget billing is open for sign up between June and August. Check out our savings page for more details.
  6. How do I support my local school?

    ?

    Our Community Cash Back program allows every customer to designate a local school or military charity to receive a donation from Edison Propane based on propane sales. Selection is made upon becoming a customer and may be updated by calling 719-478-5000
  7. Why do I need a new regulator?

    ?

    New regulators are built with improved safety features that are designed to insure your family is safe. Manufacturers suggest you should have your regulator replaced every 15 years.
  8. What areas do you service?

    We provide service within 50 miles of our office located at 38805 Myers Rd, Yoder, CO. This includes Yoder, Boone, Calhan, Colorado Springs, Ellicott, Falcon, Fountain, Hanover, Karval, Miami-Yoder, Midway, Olney Springs, Rush, Simla
  9. How do I read this gauge on my tank?

    ?

    The gauge on your propane tank usually indicates how full the tank is with propane. Most tanks may only safely be filled to around 80% max capacity. So, when your gauge reads 80% your tank is considered full. If the tank is at or below 25%, call to schedule a delivery.
  10. Do you work with LEAP and assistance agencies?

    ?

    Yes, we work with LEAP and several other assistance agencies. Check out our LEAP page for more information or call the Heat Help Line at 866-432-8435 to apply for LEAP.
